Commercial decorating in Brighton & Hove
I take on commercial decorating across Brighton and Hove: offices, lettings and commercial premises that need a clean, consistent finish without shutting the business down for a week. Fully insured for commercial sites, and used to working around opening hours, tenants and staff so the disruption stays low.
Worked around your hours
A shop or office cannot lose a week of trading to be repainted. I plan commercial work in phases and, where it suits, out of hours or in evenings and weekends, so the space keeps working while it gets decorated. We agree the schedule up front so you know exactly which areas are being done when, and can plan around it rather than being caught out.
Consistent finish across units
Lettings, blocks of offices and multi-unit premises need to look the same from one room to the next. I keep colours, finishes and standards consistent across every unit, which matters when you are turning around a rental or presenting space to clients. For lettings I can turn a property around between tenancies quickly and cleanly, ready for the next tenant.
Insured and reliable on site
Commercial sites come with their own requirements. I am fully insured for commercial work, keep the site tidy and safe, and turn up when I say I will. You get one point of contact and a decorator who treats your premises and your customers' experience with the same care as the finish itself.
The right prep, not just a quick coat
Commercial spaces take a beating, so a finish that is going to last needs the same preparation as a home: filling, sanding, priming and making good before any colour goes on. Reception areas, corridors and high-traffic rooms wear fastest, so I use durable, washable finishes where they earn their keep and match the sheen and colour to what the space is actually used for. A repaint that looks tired again in six months is not cheaper, it just costs you twice.

FAQ
Commercial decorating: common questions
Are you insured?
Yes, I am fully insured for all painting and decorating work, and I am happy to share the details before a job starts.
How do you deal with flaking paint, damaged render or damp before painting?
Preparation is most of the job. I scrape back flaking paint, make good damaged render, treat the cause of any damp where I can, and prime properly before any topcoat goes on. That is what makes a finish last rather than just look good on day one.
Thinking about a repaint?
Tell me about your property and I will arrange a site visit and a clear, no-pressure quote.
